Thembi Seete is a South African musician and actress who rose to prominence early on and has been in the public light ever since. From 1993 to 2000, the Soweto-born musician was a member of the renowned female band Boom Shaka. Boom Shaka was a hugely successful Kwaito band. Not surprisingly, many South Africans were disappointed when the band broke up.
Soon after the group disbanded, Thembi Seete went solo and began acting. She appeared in Oliver Scmitz’s Hijack Stories, which first aired in 2000. She has now taken on several additional acting roles.
