Full Biography
Oskido was born in Letlhabile Township, Brits, North West, South Africa to a Zimbabwean father, Esaph Mdlongwa, and a South African mother, Emily Sophia Molefi. Oskido spent the majority of his childhood in Luveve Township, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, where he graduated from Gifford High School. Oskido returned to Brits in 1988, at the age of 21, to run a family spaza shop before moving to Johannesburg to pursue a music career.
Oskido’s career took off after he offered to perform at a nightclub where he used to serve boerewors (sausage) when the booked DJ failed to show up.
