Dr. Kgosi Letlape is a South African ophthalmologist and healthcare leader. He was the President of the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in the past. In 2006, he formed the Africa Medical Association (AMA), and he is a former chairman of the South African Medical Association (SAMA), past president of the World Medical Association (WMA), and former Executive Director of the Tshepang Trust. In addition, he is a member of The Global Hygiene Council.
