Linda Thokozile Mbeki-Jiba was the daughter of Govan, a former South African politician, and Nomaka Epainette Mbeki. Linda was the sister of former South African President Thabo Mbeki; she died in March 2003 at the age of 61.

Linda Thokozile Mbeki-Jiba was the daughter of Govan, a former South African politician, and Nomaka Epainette Mbeki. As the sister of the former president of South Africa, Thabo Mbeki, Linda was not a public person and had a relatively low profile.
However, her contribution to her family and community was immense. Sadly, she passed away in March 2003 at the age of 61. At the time of her death, Linda left behind a daughter, also named Linda-Sapa, who was greatly affected by her mother’s passing.
