Full Biography
Patrice Motsepe’s Sibling is Bridgette Radebe. Bridgette was born on February 26th, 1960. Radebe began as a common miner in the 1980s, overseeing individual shaft mining operations and generating commodities for larger mine operations in South Africa while working under contract. She founded Mmakau Mining, a mining corporation that launches explorations and aids in the production of platinum, gold, and chrome.
Radebe is the President of the South African Mining Development Association, and her husband, Jeff Radebe, served as South Africa’s Minister in the Presidency. She is also a member of the New Africa Mining Fund and a member of the Sappi Board of Directors.

Radebe was honored with the Global Foundation for Democracy’s “International Businessperson of the Year Award” in May 2008. This award honors corporate leaders who have made a difference in a world of shifting political and environmental landscapes.
Radebe assisted at the wedding ceremony of Prince Albert II of Monaco and the former Charlene Wittstock on July 1-2, 2011. Radebe was named to the BRICS Business Council in 2019.
