He graduated from Sibasa, Venda’s Mphaphuli High School in 1971, where he had been chosen to lead the Student Christian Movement. In 1972, he enrolled at the University of the North (Turfloop) in Limpopo Province to pursue a legal education.

According to sources, Cyril Ramaphosa was elected as the fifth democratically elected president of South Africa in 2018, succeeding former President Jacob Zuma. Before his presidency, Ramaphosa was involved in various aspects of South African politics and society.
