Kiernan Jarryd Forbes better known as AKA, was a South African rapper, record producer, and entrepreneur. Forbes, who was born in Cape Town and reared in Johannesburg, rose to prominence after the release of his single “Victory Lap” off his debut studio album, Altar Ego (2011). He was a prominent South African musician of his day and the best-selling South African hip-hop artist of all time.
