Ivy Ramaphosa is Cyril Ramaphosa’s sister. Ivy Ramaphosa is the eldest of three siblings, the other two being Cyril and Douglas Ramaphosa, and the only sister in the family of three. Despite being related to South Africa’s most powerful man, Cyril Ramaphosa’s sister maintains a low profile and little is known about her.
Ivy, who bears a striking resemblance to her younger brother and is very supportive of him, was overjoyed when Ramaphosa won the ANC presidential election in Nasrec in December 2017.
Ivy Ramaphosa went on to say that their late father never imagined South Africa would produce a black president because he saw the country as a white man’s domain, and he would be very proud of his son.
