Dan Halter is an artist. Dan Halter received his BAFA from the University of Cape Town in 2001. Take Me to Your Leader (2006) (Joo Ferreira Gallery, Cape Town), Mafuta Farm (2017), and Patience Can Cook a Stone (2018) are among Dan Halter’s solo exhibitions. Dan Halter’s creative study explores geographical boundaries, migrational phenomena, and other political and social concerns through the use of craft processes such as weaving and the utilization of everyday materials such as weaved plastic bags from China in his work.
