Thulisile Nomkhosi “Thuli” Madonsela is a South African advocate and law professor who has held a chair in social justice at Stellenbosch University since January 2018. She was South Africa’s Public Protector from October 19, 2009, to October 14, 2016. In 1996, she assisted in the drafting of South Africa’s final constitution, which was signed by then-President Nelson Mandela.
