Full Biography
Lucky Khune is Itumeleng Khune’s younger brother. Lucky Khune was born in Tshing, Ventersdorp, North West, as one of six children to Elias and Flora Khune. Lucky Khune is Tswana in origin. Elias Khune, Lucky’s father, worked as a driver in a mine in Carletonville and was also an amateur football striker. Lucky Khune was a striker for the Chiefs before joining Chippa United in the PSL. Khune is known as “Spider-Man” because of his quick reflexes and adaptability as a goalkeeper. Khune and his wife Sphelele Makhunga wedded in a traditional ceremony in 2019.
