Mangosuthu Prince Gatsha Buthelezi, a South African politician and traditional Zulu leader born on August 27, 1928, is the Zulu royal family’s traditional prime minister and a member of parliament. During the apartheid era, he founded the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) while serving as Chief Minister of the KwaZulu bantustan.

Princess Lethuxolo Buthelezi was the 5th child and 3rd daughter of the prominent South African politician and traditional ruler, prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi. She was born in 1959 and was raised in a large family of 8 children.
According to some online sources, the princess, during her childhood, attended a prestigious all-girls boarding school in South Africa and went on to study Business Administration at the University of Durban Westville.
Some sources claim that the princess was well-known for her charitable work and was very active in her father’s political career. She was a passionate advocate for women’s rights and was a strong supporter of the African National Congress. She was also a member of the International Women’s Forum and the South African Women’s Movement.
Unfortunately, the princess died on the 27th of July 2008 in a road accident at the age of 48. Princess Lethuxolo’s death was a great loss to her family and her community. She left behind two children and an incredible legacy of service and kindness that will never be forgotten.
